How soon we will be able to see Ethiopian leaders in public transport?

I don’t like to be ambitious yet, I don’t see any reason why this could not happen in Ethiopia.

A series of questions always come to my mind when I think of our leaders.  What is the problem if they travel with us, live with us and so on. They didn’t come from anywhere. They were just among us before they get to the upper stairs of power.  But once they get there  its like we didn’t know each other.

Whenever the leaders want to move from place to place, flay out of or back to Ethiopia dozens of policemen spread on the sides of the roads and wiped out everyone and every vehicle.  I do have a great respect for our security forces (policemen) but sometimes I could not be so sure if they have the same respect  for me and my fellow citizens when it comes to “clearing out” the road for a government official.  “ Go! Go! Just  Leave the road! You can’t stop here”  are the offensive commands we always have to follow, every time the roads has to be left only for “ VIPs”.  It is like someone among the people is going to open fire so everyone has to leave the road. I know they have to follow orders and they have to do their job, protecting the leaders from any potential attack. But why it has to be always like that?

The divorce comes after a continuous argument between the two, sources closer to the artist told EthiopianObserver. According to the sources Amleset Muche has already left him and  she is with her parents now. በቅርቡ ጋብቻቸውን የፈፀሙት አርቲስት ቲዎድሮስ ካሳሁን (ቴዲ አፍሮ) እና ባለቤቱ መፋታታቸው እየተነገረ ነው፡፡ ለአርቲስቱ ቅርብ የሆኑ ሰዎች ትናንት ምሽት አካባቢ ለኢትዮጵያን ኦብሰርቨር እንደጠቆሙት ጥንዶቹ የተፋቱት ለቀናት በዘለቀ አለግባባት ምክንያት ነው፡፡ ለጊዜው አለመግባባት የተፈጠረበት ምክንያት ግልፅ ባይሆንም ጉዳዩን አጣርተን እንደደረሰን እናቀርባለን፡፡ የቴዲ ባለቤት በአሁን ሰዓት በቤተሰቦቿ ቤት እንደምትገኝ እየተነገረ ነው፡፡

ጉዳዩ እንዲህ ነው

ያለፉት 13 ቀናት ለአርቲስት ቲዎድሮስ ካሳሁን እና ባለቤቱ አምለሰት ሙጬ ጥሩ አልነበሩም፡፡ ቴዲ በህይወቱ ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ ጮክ ብሎ ማውራት ጀምሯል፡፡ አምለሰት ባሌቤቷ ቅናት ብጤ እንደጀማመረው እርግጠኛ ሆናለች፡፡ ሁኔታው ቢያስቃትም እየተደጋገመ ሲሄድ ግን ትግስቷ ያለቀ ይመስላል፡፡

“ቢያንስ ቀስ ብለህ አውራ ጎረቤት እስኪሰማ ድረስ ለምን ትጮሃለህ” ስትለው እንደነበርም ግድግዳ ተደግፈው ሲያዳምጡ እንደነበር የሚገልፁ የአርቲስቱ ጎረቤቶች ለኢትዮጵያን ኦብዘርቨር ተናግረዋል፡፡ የመረጃ ምንጮቻችን አያይዘውም ቴዲ ሰሞኑን የማንንም ስልክ እያልመለሰ መሆኑን ነው የጠቆሙት፡፡

አርቲስቱ በቅርቡ “ትዳር” የተሰኘ አልበም ለማውጣት በእንቅስቃሴ ላይ ነው ያሉት እንዚሁ ምንጮቻችን አሁን ከተፈጠረው ሁኔታ አንፃር የዘፈኖቹ ይዘት ምን ሊሆን እንደሚችል መገመት አያዳግትም ባይ ናቸው፡፡

ይህን መረጃ እያጠናከርን ባለlበት ሰዓት አርቲስቱ ቤቱን ቆልፎ ከአዲስ አበባ ራቅ ወዳለ ቦታ ሳይሄድ እንዳልቀረም የሚጠቁሙ መረጃዎች እየደረሱን ነው፡፡ ምናልባትም በአሁን ሰዓት አርቲስቱ ራቅ ወዳለ ቦታ የሄደው ለአዲሱ አልበሙ መጠሪያ ይሆናል ተብሎ የሚጠበቀውን “ትዳር” የተሰኘ ዜማ ለመለማመድ ሳይሆን እንደማይቀር ይህን አፕሪል ዘ ፉል አስቀድመው ነቄ ያሉ ሁላ ይደርሱበታል ብዬ ተስፋ አደርጋለሁ፡፡

እወነታው ይሄ ነው፡፡

ቴዲ አፍሮና ና ተወዳጇ ሚስቱ አሁንም ትዳራቸውን በፍቅር እየመሩ ነው፡፡ የአብርሃምና የሳራ እንዲሆንላቸውም እንመኛለን፡፡ ቴዲና አምለሰት የመጀመሪያ የሆነውን የአብራካቸውን ክፋይ በቅርቡ ወልደው እንደሚስሙም ይጠበቃል፡፡ እግዚአብሔር ልጃቸውን ይባርክላቸው፡፡ አሜን!

ለግላዊም ሆነ ለጋራ ጉዳዮቻችን የጋራ መላ በኢትዮጵያውያን የመወያያ መድረክ

እንደሌላው ሀገር ባይሆንም የኢንተርኔት ተጠቃሚዎች ቁጥር ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ በፍጥነት እያደገ ነው፡፡ ግና ለቴክኖሎጂው ጀማሪዎች ከመሆናችን የተነሳ የኢንተርኔት አጠቃቀም ባህሪያችን በእጅጉ የተለያየ ነው፡፡አብዛኞቹ ለእርስ በእርስ ግንኙነት፣ አንዳንዶች መረጃዎችን ለማግኘት፣ ጥቂቶች ለጥናትና ምርምር ሌሎች ደግሞ ለጠበሳ እና ለመሳሰሉት ነገሮች ነው ኢንተርኔት ላይ የሚውሉት፡፡ ለአብነት ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ በብዛት ከሚጎበኙ ድረ ገፆች ፌስቡክ የቀዳሚነቱን ቦታ ማንም አይቀናቀነውም፡፡  ለፌስቡክ ሱሰኞቻችን ምስጋና ይግባቸውና ኢትዮጵያ በፌስቡክ ተጠቃሚዎች ቁጥር ያላት አለም አቀፍ ደረጃ በየጊዜው እየተሻሻለ ነው፡፡

እስኪ የእኛን ለኋላ ላቆየውና ከውጪው አለም የኢንተርኔት በይነ መረብ አጠቃቀም ልምድ አንዱን ላንሳ፡፡

በተለምዶ ከምናውቃቸው ወጣ ያሉና ብዙ ጎብኚዎች ያሏቸው ቁምነገር አዘል ድረገፆች አሉ፡፡ የውይይት መድረክ (Discussion forum) በመባል የሚታወቁት እነዚህ ድረገጾች በአንድ ወይም ሁለት ሀሳብ አመንጪዎች ነው የሚጀመሩት፡፡ በርካታ ደንበኞችን ለማፍራት ታዲያ ብዙም ጊዜ አይፈጅባቸውም፡፡

በድረገፆቹ ላይ በሚነሱ ማናቸውም ጉዳዮች ላይ የተሻለ ግንዛቤ ወይም አተያይ ያለው ሰው አስተያያቱን ይሰጣል፣ የመረጃዎች ልውውጥ ይካሄዳል፣ ጤናማ ውይይቶች እና የሀሳብ ፍጭቶች ይካሄዳሉ፡፡ በዚህም ሰዎች እርስ በእሳቸው  ይማማራሉ፤ መፍትሄም ይለዋወጣሉ፡፡

Lucy Makes Last Stop in California, Then Back to its mother land Ethiopia

Los Angeles (TADIAS) – The famous Ethiopian fossil Lucy (Dinkenesh) will soon end her controversial six-year tour of the United States, making her last public stop at The Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, California where she is on display through April 28th before heading back to Ethiopia later this Spring.

“Recently, Ethiopia expressed a desire to bring Lucy back, particularly so an exhibit at the National Museum of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa could coincide with the African Union’s next meeting in May,” reports the Orange County Register in southern California where the last exhibition is being held. “So the Bowers show will be the last chance for people outside of Africa to see the famous and important fossil.”

Attempted military coup in Eritrea shuts down state TV: reports

Eritrea: ‘Troops deployed’ in Asmara (BBC)

Reports from Eritrea say a group of soldiers have surrounded the ministry of information building in the capital, Asmara.

State TV has also reportedly been taken off air in what some have described as a coup attempt.

The city is said to be calm with no shots having been fired.

Eritrea’s government has been criticised by human rights activists as one of the world’s most repressive and closed countries.

The websites of key Eritrean state and ruling party media are currently operating erratically, with the site for the ruling People’s Front for Democracy and Justice (PFDJ) party inaccessible.
